Introduction to Digital Self-Presentation
An introductory course on how identity is constructed and curated on platforms. Students examine the building blocks of a profile — image, caption, grid, archive — and the assumptions each one carries.

- Caption craft and tone
- Audience, follower, and stranger
- Authenticity, performance, and the in-between
- Final self-presentation portfolio
Assessment
30% weekly response journal, 25% seminar discussion, 20% mid-term portfolio, 25% final portfolio.
